The Bindoon Mountain Bike Park, a visionary project by the Shire of Chittering, has quickly become a favourite destination for mountain biking enthusiasts and adventure seekers since opening in early 2024. Nestled on the Shire’s tallest hill in the heart of Bindoon, the park offers a diverse trail network that caters to riders of all skill levels—from beginner-friendly green trails to thrilling black routes.

Completed in mid-2023, the first stage of the park includes the exciting dual slalom course, where riders can race side by side on parallel trails filled with berms, rollers, and jumps. This standout feature provides a mix of fun and challenge, perfect for both friendly competition and skill building. Beyond the dual slalom, the park offers a variety of trails designed for everyone, whether you’re a beginner looking to gain confidence or an experienced rider seeking technical terrain. With plenty of progression opportunities, it’s a great place to develop and push your skills.

The Bindoon Mountain Bike Park is also a testament to community effort and collaboration. Three Chillies Design, as a local Chittering business, has been deeply involved in the project from the start. Working alongside the Shire and local mountain bike club, we helped identify the site, conduct feasibility studies, engage with the community, and develop the concept plan.

This park is more than just trails — it’s a key part of Bindoon’s growth as a hub for outdoor activities, bringing visitors to the area and encouraging active, family-friendly lifestyles. As part of the ongoing development, plans are in place to expand the trail offerings and the trailhead with amenities like a kiosk, bike hire, and refreshment facilities.
