Ngoolark Mountain Bike Jump Park

Ngoolark Mountain Bike Jump Park

Location: Nannup, Western Australia
Client: Shire of Nannup
Date: July 2023 – November 2023

In 2023, we were excited to return to Nannup to design and build the Ngoolark Mountain Bike Jump Park. Named after the white-tailed black cockatoo, Ngoolark, the park offers something for riders of all levels, with two downhill jump lines and a return trail. It’s part of Nannup’s growing reputation as a must-visit destination for trails and outdoor adventures.

The park features two distinct jump lines:

  • Boorung Ngoolark Biddi (Black Line) – A challenging course packed with features for advanced riders to test their skills and land tricks.
  • Nyini Ngoolark Biddi (Beginner Line) – A more approachable line designed for newer riders to build confidence and develop their technique.

We also constructed the Garruyul Biddi return trail, a gentle climb back to the start mound, making it easy for riders to keep the flow going.

The jump lines were built to last, using a pour-on hard-surfacing method to create a durable, low-maintenance surface. With berms, table tops, and hip jumps, the park is designed to help riders progress, no matter where they’re starting from.

Since opening in June 2023, the Ngoolark Mountain Bike Jump Park has been a hit with riders and has brought even more visitors to Nannup. Just 2 km north of town, it’s an easy spot to add to your next adventure
