Shaping, surfacing and maintenance of a popular public off-road vehicle area.

The Pinjar Motorcycle Area offers a range of trails for beginners to experienced riders. 20km of trail network meanders through a 300 hectare area of pine plantation and open scrubland.

Three Chillies Design have had a long association with Pinjar, with Paul Neve being involved as an RTRA committee member in the early days of the trails.

Three Chillies were engaged to design and construct the Pilot Trail in 2008.  In 2011 we were engaged to upgrade the Pee Wee Trail, consisting of reshaping and surfacing works.

Since 2016 we have regularly been engaged to perform annual maintenance of Short and Curly, Pee Wee and Family Trails at Pinjar. This frequent maintenance has enabled us to fine tune our construction and maintenance to assure longevity of trail surfaces.  In 2018, we trialed hard surfacing of jumps and landings on some trails.  This innovative technique exhibited remarkable durability, prompting the team to extend its’ implementation in subsequent years.
