Yalbunullup Mountain Bike Trails

Earlier this year, Three Chillies Design were awarded the Design and Construct contract of the Yalbunullup Mountain Bike Trails, following a competitive tendering process. Three Chillies Design have maintained a successful working relationship with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions since 2006, and have completed numerous projects for the department across Western Australia.

The Yalbunullup Mountain Bike Trails, located in Yellagonga Regional Park, offer 7 kilometers of cross-country and flow trails designed for beginner and intermediate riders. Situated in the heart of suburbia, these trails provide a family-friendly mountain biking experience with scenic views of Lake Joondalup. The Yalbunullup Mountain Bike Trails project required using imported materials for trail surfaces and features due to the area’s sandy soil. This provided Three Chillies Design with a valuable opportunity to showcase our expertise in creating trails in environments where natural materials aren’t readily available.

New upgrades to the park also include a car park, toilets and a large pavilion shelter.
